using 2 creative sound cards in a computer (audigy and XFi)

I use one sound card to play music in the speakers and another one to monitor in earphones what I add to the play list. I have a computer (dell 3500) with a creative soundblaster Live! with a creative X-Fi extreme music and it works fine. I bought a dell 5150 with a creative X-Fi extreme music, I added an Audigy se. I installed the card, it worked well but I lost the XFi after rebooting. I tried several combinations of uninstall reinstall in different order, adding the card without installing the creative software and finally managed to make it work even after few reboots. But my volume control and other creative utilities fails to load. How can make it all work?

Please email me, I only have one week trial on the audigy card.

You should be only using one sound device at one giving time. Why are you try to use 2 cards for sound in the first place??

You have x-fi what is your problem?? What are you trying to do with a lower class card with a higher card?

I'm a dj. I use computers for my disco-mobile. One card plays music in the speakers and another one monitor music in my earphones at the same time. I can't use 2 xfi cards in the same computer, i have to use 2 diffrenciables cards. I do it with a soundblaster live 24 bits and an integrated card with soundmax drivers and it works well. I do it with another computer with a soundblaster live and an xfi card, it works well. My new computer has an xfi with an integrated soundcard, and it didn't work with the sigmatel drivers. I bought an audigy card and had problems.

Merci
