Soundcard software has no EQ, can I add one?
Hello all, I purchased the Turtle Beach Riviera at the bad advice of someone.
Anyhow, I am stuck with this $35 sound card until I upgrade. I was disappointed to find that the sound card's software has no Equalizer. I am in the process of transferring my library from Real Player (that has a 3 band EQ) to Windows Media Player (that has a 10 band). What would make my life a lot easier is to add a program with an independent EQ. I tried downloading the software for an older Turtle Beach card with an EQ (more specifically the Santa Cruz) but even though the sound test produced sound when I tried to open the software it said "connect detect sound card". So do I have any options to add an independent EQ or use a different Turtle Beach program that's compatible with this low end card that will give me equalizer function? Thanks in advance.
