no true surround sound
I have Creative Audigy 2NX and Logitech 5450 (the one with two wireless rear speakers). I also have a AverMedia TV Box 5 external tv tuner card. My system is a Sony Vaio laptop also.
I've installed the latest 2nx drivers and I get 5.1 surround except when playing DVD's or watching tv (only get front). How do I correct this? I setup 5.1 as speaker settings and have cmss enabled too. I am using 3 RCA (mini plug) to connect the speakers to the 2nx (front, center, rear). I use a line in rca plug for tv tuner to line in jack in 2nx as well. My o/s is XP Media Center 2005 |
