Problem with sound-urgent help needed!!!!!!

Hey guys

Heres the problem,

My sound has just stopped working. When i turned on my pc it said new hardware detected and I couldnt get any sound. I ran the install new hardware wizard and it said that i needed to insert a cd. I have a Logitech 5.1 surround system and it worked fine on my last use. I haven't changed any of the settings and can't understand why this has happened.

Help on this subject is VERY much appreciated.
