ACER laptop

Hi. I have recently re-installed XP. Before all my sound was working.

But now Windows live media player and Nero 7 keep saying that i have no sound card.

But all other little noises work...like when somebody talks to you on MSN and you get that little noise. It works.

It is only when i go to play Music or DVD's i Nero it says it.

Any ideas?

go into the device manager and click on the card and check the drivers are loaded
