4 Channel PCI sound card

i have recently bought a 4 Channel PCI sound card. C-Media Crystal CS4281-CQ chipset from(below) and there is a huge problem with the mic every mic i tried there is a extremely hug static sound background. and because this doesnt have a driver i think that is the problem, do anyone know how to solve this?

when you install it, did u ground yourself, i.e where an antistatic band or continously touch the casing plate, as the static on u can cause this crackly effect.

WHOOPS big mistake, do you have another sound car fron another pc u could use? to check whether that was the problem, if u do MAKE SURE U GROUND YOURSELF
