urgent help needed or sound recovery.....

hi to all..... i am using HP system that is 8 months old ..... i use windowsXP as my os. ans realtek AC'97 as my audio driver... suddenly my system failed to output sound and wen i ran directX test it gave me as "Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code)".... i tried changing the speakers but of no use and also reinstalled the audio driver cd but it doesn make any good..... details of my driver is given below..
