Sound Card Not Recognized

I recently bought a cheap FM801 sound card to replace my integrated one on my Dell E310. I disabled the integrated audio, installed the drivers, etc. but it is still not recognized.
Being limited to two PCI slots, I had to remove my modem, which I wasn't using. When I swapped the audio card for the wireless NIC I bought, it at least picked up the audio card, though it said there were too many instances installed.
Suggestions?

get the newest drivers from the net and install. and allso uninstall the older driver.. ;)
