On Board audio issue
I recently did a case swap with y system and am now having audio issue since then. I have an Asus A7V8X-La Mobo with Realtech on board audio codec. I have reinstalled the driver and made sure it is set as the default. I installed an audio card i had laying around and got sound from it, so i know my speakers work fine. I would continue to use the secondary audio card but it has a constant beep coming thru my speakers when hooked up to the front out. But if i switch it to the rear out, it goes away, but i lose the volume funtion inside windows. Any suggestions about how i can fix either problem? The secondary card i hoooked up is a crystal fusion audio card.

Update drivers...: D that will fix it... Uninstall any sound drivers that have nothing to do with the sound card you wish to use...
If you wish to use the onboard do so but updating drivers... And enabling it in the bios and only have audio drivers for this... If you wish to have the sound card running updates drivers and have onboard sound disabled in the bios... all so remove any drivers for the onboard sound...

I uninstalled everything, then reinstalled the on board audio drivers. I get sound now, but will only play in one channel. My speakers set up is 4 surround sound speakers with a subwoofer. Everything plugs into the subwoofer and it reduces it down to the 2 channel cords that go to the computer. using the proper setup, i only get sound in the rear channel and subwoofer. If i swtich the green and blue plugs, i get it in the front channel and subwoofer only.
