I have windows XP installed on my computer. Up until a week ago everything was fine, but now music won't play on my computer.
Every time i try to listen to music on media player i get this message: "Windows Media Player cannot play the file because there is a problem with your sound device. There may not be a sound device installed on your computer, it may be in use by another program, or it may not be functioning properly". If I try to play music on itunes my computer freezes, and I have to shut it down. I've just tried installing a new version of directX, but that doesn't seem to have helped the problem. Any help would be really appreciated. XXX J |
