No sound
Hi all,
Another problem. I've lost my sound. When I adjust the volume, my speakers beep so I know that it's not the speakers or how they're plugged in. But, I can't get any sound. This happened once before and all I did was move the plug to the sound plug on the front of my computer. I did that this time but it didn't make a difference. Any suggestions? |

To start, what kind of sound card do you have? Is it onboard? Do you get any yellow alerts (!'s) in the device manager?

Easiest solution, use system restore and revert back to the day when it last worked. That should reset any software configuration problems your sound card might have experienced. If that doesn't work its a hardware issue, but give it a try and come back.
