help please!!!!!!

OS: Windows XP
Laptop (Toshiba Satellite P4 2.8)
Sound Device- Realtek AC'97

my problem is this:
i bought this laptop a year ago and i am experiencing a problem with the soundcard on board my laptop. when i connect speakers into my laptop to hear some music, the playback isnt as loud as it should be and i know it isnt as loud because i compare it with other laptops. but when i put this same msuic file on my pda and connect my speakers to my pda, the playback is awesome with full volume. why is this? my volume is all the way up in the volume control option and my speakers are al the way up, why doesnt the sound play as loud from my laptop liek it is from my pda?

Thumbs Up

Maybe the volume in the program you are using to play the music isn't loud enough. try putting it up. if not trying uninstalling the sound card drivers and reinstall it again. make sure the speakers cable is all the way in the hole.
