New Audigy 2 ZS Platinum PRO
Hi guys, first post here. I have just bought an Audigy 2 ZS platinum pro, i mainly bought it so I could use EAX supported games with it. Now what I would like to know is what will happen if I connect to this via digital to my external amp for my surround sound? My amp has both coax and optical connections. Will the card encode the EAX sounds in dolby digital for the surround sound?? How will the amp see the signal??
The card comes with the breakout box with both coax and optical. Which am I best using? Ideally I would like the amp to pick it up as dolby or DTS, id like it to be in surround sound. I know the amp cant decode EAX sounds. The Amp is a Pioneer 7.1 AV receiver, its currently setup for 5.1. Currently I have to use pro logic 2 to get the surround working. Thanks alot Andy. |
