Sound through a single speaker
I'm sure that this is not a soundcard problem, but where else could I put it?
OK, whenever I play anything through iTunes, WMP or, as a test, system sounds, sound only comes through the left speaker. My monitor has mounted speakers, so I am sure all the wiring is correct, and I have checked for loose connections. Also, I have checked the volume control, but the balance is perfect. The strange thing is that it has happened so suddenly after 3 years. Someone help! |

There might be a slight chance that a speaker has died, have you try'd plugging the speakers into something else like a walkman/CD or such. also have you checked to see if there are any updated drivers for your sound card

Or try another set of speakers.
