No sound: Realtek AC'97
I was running Toshiba laptop with XP SP2 happily producing onboard sound with Realtek AC'97 until suddenly it stopped. I have checked the configuration myself and with Toshiba Support I have installed new drivers and rolled back to the original. Nothing works. Everything is unmuted. I am disinclined to believe the hardware is broken but at a loss to work out how to fix it. I have searched extensively for many days now.
TIA |
