5.1 Speakers

I have a Sounblaster Live! 5.1 It's one of the early models of the Live series, but it was free...

Anyway, everytime I restart my computer, I have to go back into the advanced audio settings and change the speaker set up from desktop speakers to 5.1. I have Logitech X-530 5.1 speaker set up.

It's really annoying to have to change this setting every time. Is there a way to make it STAY on 5.1 speakers so I don't have to change it every time?

I'd really appreciate some help on this. Thanks!

Yeah, everything's up to date. I keep checking Creative's site to make sure.

There are 3 inputs from the speakers and they're all pluged in. I also have the line-in pluged in for the TV Tuner. I've had the sound card for over a year and it's always done this. I just got the TV tuner recently; that didn't change anything.

Once I set it manually in the advanced settings, it works in 5.1. The creative drivers have a place where the 5.1 settings need to be made, too but those don't change. It saves the changes I make.

I have to change it in Windows. The Creative stays set to 5.1. The Windows setting changes back to Desktop Speakers after every restart.
