No sound at all
Hi,everybody! I need desperately help...all of a sudden my sound card doesn't seem to a make any sound; I have Win98 and a sound blaster pc164 mixer...I have been using them for 7 years but now the problem looks somehow permanent...this is the first time that doesn't seem to work at all although during all these years I had some problems from time to time. Now, even the icon has disappeared from the bar...does anybody have any ideas? Thank you in advance!

might of died of old age,can you see it listed in the device manager,
if it is,is there any yellow beside it's entry,if not listed then try reseating it
