Sound card with multiple signals
I need some help from someone who knows more about audio than me, which isn't very much. I was looking at this audio card http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Delta44-main.html
Can someone clarify that if I install this card and then go to Control Panel in WindowsXP and select Audio Devices, I will see 4 different audio devices, one for each signal? That would be great if it were true, but I have a hard time believing it. Are there any cards that would do such a thing, or is the only way to do that is to have 4 distinct cards installed in the machine? |

I see. I figured it wouldn't do what I was hoping. So, here is another question:
If I get two of the same sound cards and install them in my computer, will I have a driver conflict since they will both use the same drivers? If the answer is yes, then what if I use two different brand sound cards? |
