Sound Card plays mp3s faster than normal (higher tempo)
First of all I would like to say hello to everybody in the forum as it is my first post here.
Apart from that I have also a question I want to make, so here it goes. There is a Pentium 3 PC in the office with an onboard sound card. The PC runs on Windows 2000. The problem is that the PC plays the mp3s with a higher tempo than the original tempo of each song. The songs play faster, for example a 4 minute song lasts only 3 minutes. This happens with both Winamp and Windows media player. The driver of the sound card seems to be fine. Has anybody come across this before? Does it have to do with a software or a hardware problem? Many thanks in advance for your help.
