c-media sound card problem

Hello,

I have a really annoying problem:
I had an ASUS p4s533 motherboard, with an onboard c-media cmi 9738 audio chip.
The drivers in the CD I got worked fine, one time when i have formated my pc, and tried to install it, the pc stuck, and when i tried to restart it, it just showed a black screen with only the mouse.
Only when i disabled the onboard card from the bios, or started at safe-mode, and disabled or uninstalled the driver, the pc booted normally.
I also tried every driver i could find on the internet and on c-media's site, but every driver does the same problem.
It also didn't matter how i installed, by the setup, or with the "add hardware" of windows, it didn't help.
Yesturday I bought an c-media cmi 8738 pci sound card, but the same problem occoured.

Thank You very very much, Barak.
