Asrock P4i45GV onboard sound problem
Hi there.
PS Specs: Celeron 2.4 ghz, 20gb hdd, 256mb. Im working on a client's PC. Had Windows 98 SE on. Sound, VGA etc working 100%. Upgraded to XP Home - to keep up with new software etc. Since then NO sound. Formatted drive - installed sound drivers - still no sound. Under Device Manager get the following: "Device could not start - Error 10" Ive uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, before installing the display drivers - still doing the same. Ive downloaded various other drivers, installed the generic sound drivers - but no solution. Anyone have some help for me please? |

Did you try uninstalling the other drivers first? Do you see the sound card in the device manager?
