pcv rx850 desktop > replace cdburner to dvd burner

anyone have a clue on how to replace the cd burner on my sony rx850 with a dvd burner
i can't figure out in this small case on which latch to pull/push or what other screws to remove to remove the cd burner

also do i have to uninstall the cd burner driver 1st before installing the driver for the dvd burner or can i just disable it

I don't know how to open your particular case. I can tell you that you do not have to remove the cd burner drivers first, nor do you have to disable it. Just physically remove the cd drive and replace it with the dvd burner. Windows will detect the new drive upon booting and it will install the needed drivers.

i figured it out,
i had to open the frnt faceplate along with d side cover
not very smart design

set the jumper setting on the new one to the same as is on the old one
