I edited some home videos in Windows Movie Maker and wanted to burn them on DVDs, but when I tried to burn the videos I got a message saying there was no disc in the drive. I've tried it with various types of DVDs and CDs and it doesn't work. But my burner works fine when I use Nero.
Do you know what the problem is and what I can do to burn the videos? I spent so much time editing them in Windows Movie Maker that I'd rather not have to redo the whole thing in Nero. ![]() p.s. I hope I'm posting this in the right forum, I'm not sure where it fits the best. Last edited by Kolur; 02-14-2006 at 06:03 AM. |

@ Kolur
It could be a conflict with Nero that won't allow recognition with another drive, Nero being a jealous ruler . You can try uninstalling Nero using the Nero Clean Tools. You may have to reinstall the Windows movie-maker stuff to get things back to working after the Nero removal. It would not be that big of job, or at least easier then Nero removal, to convert your video to Nero files, though. There alkso may be better solutions than mine, but I noticed your post going unanswered, so I thought I would offer some advice.
