Ha. Good luck doing that. What kind of file is it? If it is a video file, then it already is compressed. Your best bet would be to split the file into multiple parts and store each part on a separate CD. Afterwards you can put the file back together again. You can use Winrar for this.
You would be able to store the file on a single DVD if you had a DVD burner. |

You could use ISO Buster to extract the files from the ISO format, and then use a better compression on it to compress it a little better, but to get the compression you want is not likely, and probably not safe for the data either. Your best bet would be to split the file.

First you need to install Winrar.
Once it is installed, you want to right-click the ISO and select "Add to archive...". A window should popup with some options. At the bottom, there is a dropdown menu called "Split to volumes, bytes". You want to choose the 700m - CD-700M option. Press OK, and it will save the split files to whatever directory you saved your ISO in. To put the files back together, just highlight them all with the mouse, right-click a file, and press "Extract files...". Choose a destination to save the file. |
