Plextor optical drive question?

I would like to know why is the Plextor optical drive model PX716ALSW costs more than the PX716ASW drive? I figured the ASW model would cost more because the tray opens in and out while the ALSW model's tray is none since it's inside the drive itself? I mean the costs that I've seen on pricegrabber.com it's a good $40 plus difference? thanks

If you look at the features list for both models ASW ALSW there are some differences which might explain the price difference.
eg. the ALSW has these extra features - 6x speed DVD+R DL burning instead of 4x, Intelligent Burning technology, silent mode, etc.

well according to the Plextor website, they both burn at 6x DVD+R DL speed, also they same features and software as well, thanks
I still think it's cause of how it loads the discs that makes the price difference
