usb card
I have an IBM Thinkpad. The only USB port is destroyed. I bought a Dynex USB 2.0 Notebook USB card and installed it and the driver. It was recognized by the computer, but the the card USB ports won't recognize any other equipment...printer , ext harddrive etc. I just noticed on some instructions I downloaded off the net , that some sort of power cord, which was supplied, is supposed to be connected to the computer USB port ( which is destroyed ) and an outlet on the card between the 2 USB ports. Is this correct??
If so how will I get it to work ?? |
