Wow, is there anything in the drive? Do they work properly?
If it was the screws being loose then it would be more of a buzzing sound the a rattling noise as the drives spin up. Could you have droped a screw somewhere (I droped a screw once and it ratlled everytime my box spun up.)

no issue fixed now. i took the side off and checked the screws they were a bit tight sso i loosened them a bit but the drives are still solid within the system. but the problem was my fan on the side of the case was being bombarded by my wires inside and it made that rattling noice. a bit of cleaning up and organzation of the wires [which basically means i just pushed them out of the way a bit more for the time being
] but this issue is fixed and it makes me happy.but thanks for the help and the quick responsiveness |

Not really. At least one model of Dell towers has a bad problem with this. The power lead that plugs in near the cpu gets caught in the case fan. I found out about it when I let a Dell tech replace a power supply. I had to show him how to do it correctly.

Yeah I hate when wires get caught in fans
one a psu mod led to its demise as a wire stoped its fan and you know what happened..............................
