Problem with CD and DVD Drives

I have the same problem as the first post, and have removed the upper and lower filters as described in the Microsoft KB. The drives still show up in the device manager and bios but not in "My Computer", "Windows Explorer" or my burning software. I also tried removing them from the device manager. When I restarted, they were detected but XP could not find drivers for them. Any other suggestions? Thanks!

what burning software are you using

Right now I am using Roxio Cd DVD creator 7.5

try uninstalling and reinstalling it

Roxio has known issues with xp. I would consider a different software.
