Sony DVD R/RW orange light issue

My Sony dvd burner just started to blink orange continuously and it can't read any cd's or dvd's. Not sure what happend to it. The machine detects its there. Anyone help?

Usually when the light is blinking it is trying to read. Something in the drive is telling it there is a disk in it.This could be caused by dust or some thing broken in the drive.
Suggestion: Try opening the drawer and blowing it out with some Canned air.

and run a lens cleaner in it.

If that doesn't work You will most likely will have to replace it.
