I Have An Rca Lyra Player With 2gb Mem It Switches On And Shows Rca Screen Then Just Stays There I Plug It In The Usb But It Is Not Picking The Player Up Once It Said Removable Drive In E Needs Formatting But Would Not Do Anything, Have Tried Different Plugs And A New Lead But Still Nothing, Did Work Fine, Local Comp Shop Just Said Buy New One, Any One Had Similar Probs, Please Help Gary

to use such devices you must have a USB 2.0 hub controller

check under you device manager / check to be sure your usb controller is version 2.0 and not 1.1

you may have to update your mobo controller these files can be found at you mobo website/ support/ downloads / your mobo model ????

for your review / look at this screen shot of USB root hub 2.0 / is that the version of yours ?????

thanks tried that it is usb2 have managed to get the comp to list player but player now says HDD ini failed not sure if this means hard or soft ware
any help very greatful thanks gary
