Problem with Burner (DVD drive)
I'm sorry if this is the wrong section, but I'll put it in the hardware (DVD drive) section also.
long story short, my burner hasn't been working for a while, I took it for repiar got it back, and it still is messed up. When I try to burn something, it'll buffer to about half way then it'll just stop and the buffer just won't do anything. Basically I can't even cancel it and I have to close it via task manager and then restart my computer because it's slow. So I borrowed my friend's external dvd drive figuring it was my dvd drive was the problem. Pretty much the same thing happened on his, and I was just doign the Test burn this time! What should I do? http://support.gateway.com/support/d...¶m=1009049 That's the link for my computer's drivers. SHould I download all of those?? Any help is appreciated guys! |

Re: Problem with Burner (DVD drive)
I've tried many softwares... tried Nero, image burn, pretty sure I've tried Roxio too. either that or Roxio was too slow and was making my computer slow.
My computer is extremely slow and has other problems also besides this one. |

Re: Problem with Burner (DVD drive)
I've done the "fix it" thing from windows and it says that the dvd drives (internal and external) cannot write DVD's....
I don't know how that helps me really though, but I'm sure now that it's not because of the software or DVD drive then. |
