data lost by semi formatting
i have accidentally clicked on the format tab of my external removable hard disc(320 GB) after which after 20 secs or so i clicked cancel. now i am not able to read or recover my data worth 300 GB. whenever i plug the removable hard disc and open it prompts for formatting yes or no and after prssing no doesn't respond. pls help me resolve this problem as data on the disk is of the highest importance

Re: data lost by semi formatting
Once a format is started is can, as you have found, do damage to all data on the drive. You might have some luck with a Data Recovery software.
