Undetected Disc Drives?????
A guy has given me a HP Pavilion 542x (boat anchor) He was complaining that it was unbearably slow. I was going to wipe the whole thing clean for him with my XP disc however the PC dosn't seem to have either of the disc drives installed.
I Went in to the Setup and set the disc drives to be first on powerup and boot. I went into device manager and cannot find them at all. The only drive that exists to this computer is the A drive. I even popped the case and made sure they were connected. What can I do??? Please help. |
