Im trying to burn A iso ( Dban ) to a CD But None of my CDS work and now i am hearing A clinking sound from it as it runs - even when im not burning - I have tryed 7 diff Cds too and my burns fail - Help?

So like how do i install to usb or something i think i havea bad DVD-RW drive

Now it wont Even open up - I'll try restarting but i think i was right...

Restarted And it opened up - Must have been due to the Image burning failing

Also can a Admin move this to Removable Media Drives I just relised i posted in the wrong place :l

I agree - I think your drive is well on the way to dying.
Can you still read CDs?
Does your system BIOS allow booting from a USB device?

I ask because if you are trying to wipe the drive on that computer then you will need to read a CD in order to reinstall an operating system. If you can't currently read disks then you will need a new drive anyway, which will be able to burn CDs.

It's still reading Cd's ( music Cd's )
I need to burn Dban to a Cd bad...

I have two Cd drive but only one is read-wite

I have booted from usb yes

I'v asted like 7 Cds trying to Burn Dban to it..
Man this pc is Messed up...
