I have had a sony psp for about 2 years now...

In that time i have downloaded many pics and music. Now all of the sudden i can not download anything becuase the USB cable will not be recognized. I have tried rebooting my PC and my PSP, connecting to 4 differant USB ports, updating drivers and formating the memory stick. I have also tried using differand memory sticks, none of which have worked. i have tried everything i can think of short of buying a new cord. any ideas on how to fix this problem? also im not ver high tech so please dont tell me a version of this for a proffesional computer scripter or builder.

Sounds like possibly a bad cable or a failed port on the PSP.
