Annoying issue with iPod
I'm on Windows Vista, and I'm having an annoying issue with my iPod. It's more of a minor annoyance, but it's still bothering me a bit. See, my printer came with HP Photosmart Essentials. I installed it, because, well, I figured that'd make sense. Now, though, whenever I connect my iPod to my computer, Photosmart opens up and searches the iPod for photos. Again, it's merely a minor annoyance (I can simply close out of Photosmart), but it's still a bit irritating. Any way to stop it from opening when I connect an iPod?
I tried going into my computer's Autoplay settings and changing some things, but that didn't do anything. I couldn't find any specific option in the actual Photosmart program itself that sounds like it would prevent it from opening. I don't necessarily want to uninstall Photosmart because I don't know whether or not that it's a program my printer/ scanner needs. Any ideas? |

Re: Annoying issue with iPod
Simply disable the Photosmart app from loading on startup. You can manually start the app whenver you want/need it.
