Hello !!
I have a 8 GB pendrive from kingston. For the past few days, whenever I insert it in any desktop, it gives the following error : "one of the devices attached has malfunctioned......"
I have tried it on many systems(XP/vista both having admin privilege). Also my friend's pendrives are functioning properly on those USB ports

Re: Kingston Pendrive ||USB device malfunctioned

It has all the symptoms of a failed drive.
Contact Kingston and supply them with any requested information. There were/are a lot of counterfeit Kingston drives around.

Re: Kingston Pendrive ||USB device malfunctioned

Well, AFAIK it is not counterfeit. Considering it to be original, can I get a replacement?

AFAIK? Did you contact Kingston? Kingston should repalce it at no charge. I had one of the counterfeit one and they replaced it free of charge.

Re: Kingston Pendrive ||USB device malfunctioned

Was it counterfeit or just a defective unit?
