Samsung SH-S223Q Weird Problem
I have two samsung SH-S223Q optical drives, and for a while everything was perfect. I didn't have any issues. Still to this day I have no problems with burning any disc's at all. But when i try to play an audio disc it seems to only read certain tracks. For example It would be able to play only track 3 and track 7 and it would be the same with any media player i use. Some media players saying the disc may be dirty or damaged others just skipping the other tracks all together. It even has this problem when just after it burns a disc. Yet that same disc still works on any other computer/car stero etc.
Only with Audio cd's I seem to run into this problem reading them The two optical drives are identical and it seemed to stop working on both at the same time. I have tried updating the Firmware. It was SB00, now it is SB03. I have played discs that were burned on other computers and discs that were burned on this computer. I get the same Result. I have no idea at this point what the problem may be. I am guessing there maybe a software conflict somewhere, however I have not added new software recently. I am lost for ideas but I would like to be able to use the drives to the fullest. Any ideas or suggestions would really be helpfull. Thanks alot. |
