Help. My Safety removal tool icon on the bottom right never shows up anymore?

I would like to safetly eject my usb but I can't because the icon bottom right never shows up anymore. Is there any way to get it back? Thx

It should be fairly safe to just pull the USB out. Just make sure no programs are accessing it.

Not using the Safely Remove Hardware option is a good way to damage a USB device...especially USB sticks.
Use the solution that Team Mate makinu1der2 suggested.
You could try this.....right clik the taskbar near the clock, select "Properties" - "Customize" - Under "Current Items" is the Safely Remove Hardware set to "Always Hide"?
