Formatting removable media!!
Hi there, my ipod 80GB video 6th gen had broken however the ipod is still active. Im wanting to transfer all the songs and data off it as a back up incase the drive brakes or anything goes wrong. i baught a 1.8" usb 2.0 CE IDE HDD enclosure that supports the ipod hard drive. Here i am suppose to be able to access the data through my computer. However when the drive pops up in my computer windows tells me that it is'nt formatted and that i have to do that first, but if i format it then ill loose all the ipod data hense buying the enclosure is pointless. Is there a way around this e.g using a software that will pick up the drive and its contents then transfer it without the need for formatting first? If so spacifically to backup ipod data
Thanks |
