How to back-up folders.

In outlook express I always store important info in folders below drafts. I have about a hundred and I would be lost without them. I can't back them up to a Zip drive or to a cd. Any help out there. Thanks.

Re: How to back-up folders.

In OE, click on Tools . . Options . . look for a button for data management . .that will show the file path for the folders (.dbx files) burn that folder to cd

Re: How to back-up folders.

Thanks Rich for trying to help. I tried tolls/options and could not find data management. I did however go to file/folders and compacted all the folders but don't know how to find the compacted dbx files so I can back them up.

Re: How to back-up folders.

I don;t have a system with OE so am working from memory . . look for the button that tells your where the files are loacated.

Alternately, do a search for *.dbx ( set it to look for hidden and system files ) . . that will sow the path to the folder. Be sure to back up the whole folder . . not just the dbx files
