Re-format a corrupted SD card...
Here's a condensed story: I'm trying to install either XP or Linux (still deciding....) to a hard drive I cleaned out and re-partitioned. Due to reasons I am unable to explain, my CD/DVD drive hasn't worked in the last few years, so I can't make a CD out of the ISO. I also attempted to use tools like UNetbootin to boot the LiveCD through my hard drive, but that failed miserably (curse you, error 15!).
Anyway, I just happened to stumble upon a 4GB SD card, and I just happen to have a 9-in-one slot thingy, so I stuck it in, and as I go to the disk manager in Windows (you know, My Computer>Right-click>Manage), it tells me that it's trying to read/gather the information or something in the like, but it never does. Then I go to My Computer, click on the drive it's located in (G:/), and Explorer freezes. Then I thought "what if I try Partition Magic?", as it has been my savior for the last few days. So I execute it, but it freezes while starting up. That is, until I take out the SD card. Any ideas on the accessing of this card? I don't want to recover any files, just re-format it.
