Flash drive and disappearing information...
Hi everyone. I'm pretty much ready to pull my hair out over this. I recently had to transfer some old documents, images, and other stuff to a flash drive because I had a hard drive that was giving me trouble. I watched the information transfer over and even verified that it was there. When I was ready to remove the drive, I used the "Safely Remove Hardware" thing, and Walked it over to the other computer where I was setting everything up. When I plugged my flash drive in to transfer all of my information over, It appeared to go fine. As I was browsing through the files, I noticed after a specific folder, every other folder was showing blank. Also, some of the pictures are not pulling up, yet they are showing the right file size and name. Is there anything in particular that would cause this? also, the other hard drive is now a brick/paperweight... Due to the fact that someone else in the family tried to "fix" it. Am I just going to lose all of this information?
