Boot cd from external dvd drive
Hello, im new to this forum, so hi :D..
Well here is my problem. I got a XPS Gen 5, I had a dvd reader, but a cd of hp broke inside of it, and well, didnt worked anymore, so I bought an external dvd reader, and I NEED to boot the dvd from the external drive, but I think its not possible, try changing my bios order, seems that doesnt detect my usb thing, since it says usb device (not present), but the dvd drive works fine, and I have nothing on my HDD, since I tried formatting, etc. Because im installing another windows. Okay, another thing is how do I delete and format my whole partition? Tried with gparted, but its a bit wierd, and at the end says video cant show or something like that. So I need something else.
