word docs saved as wmdb files?
I have an Ultra USB stick, no software on the USB stick. I copied about 20 folders to the stick, each containing mostly word docs but some with the pdf files and excel files. The first fifteen folders transferred/copied without 'changing'. It is the last five folders in the list in which all the files (previously word docs) 'became' wmdb files. I was not listening to any music during the transfer... any idea how this could be, and more importantly, whow to recover my files? The source files were on another computer to which I no longer have access.
All of the folders I copied are there, the folders themselves have not changed, it is the files in the last five folders that have changed. No file or folder is missing, but of course, I cannot access the files that have become wmdb files. Any help would be appreciated, thanks! |
