cd rom not functioning
when i ve inserted the cd it was broken into pieces with a huge sound donno y it happend..previously its working condition was quite good and then after cd rom is not working i mean cd insertion plate is not opening and closing properly can i do anything wid it 2 get it to previous conditon plz do reply me

take the casing of and look for any broken pieces
when this happens it usually destroys the drive and you have to replace
