Dell Inspiron DVD/RW Not Being Detected

Hi All,
With reference to below thread:
[SOLVED] NEC DVD+-RW ND-6650A Driver Missing

I am still having problem that my DVD.RW is not shown in My Computer as that entry "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Class \ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}" contains a folder 0000 beneath it and that has 1 key having "value not set" and some other entries. For additional information I have NEC DVD+-RW ND-6650a.

i am having the same problem with my NEC ND-6650A Dual Layer DVD±RW Drive i recently had norton remotely access my computer because it wasnt working due to trojans and downloaders being on it. They done everthing they could but they said i have to contact microsoft because my o/s systems have become corrupt. and ever since my cd rom drive has become invisible to my computer i have tried what was sed in the one thread by doin regedit and it did not work some one please help me!
