Micro SD will not read

I have a 2GB Kingston Micro SD card that I use for my R4DS.
I also use a MicroSD USB 2.0 as an adapter.
For about a half a year it has been working fine for me, then one day
my computer reads the USB but not the card. At first I thought it was
the card reading component, but then I tried the Micro SD from my nephew's
R4 with my USB adapter and it worked fine. The card also works fine in the R4.

Please help with my problem. Thanks in advance.

Re: Micro SD will not read

Maybe its your usb port try rolling them back or updating them some times the usb Port its self is disabled. The same thing happend to me me with my Memory stick duo. or try using system restore on your system. that might just help.

Re: Micro SD will not read

Sorry for the VERY late reply. How exactly do I see if the USB is disabled and how do you roll it back.

*EDIT*

Ok, I tried all that and it didn't work. Any other Ideas?
