Hi,
I have noticed that my CD/DVD drive is not being recognised. When I insert any a CD or DVD the disk spins but it is not shown in my computer. I have checked the connections and they are firmly connected. the make and model is: AOpen, CD/DVD Rewritable drive Model no. DUW1616/ARR P/N: 91.4ID37.273 S/N: 52816653JE B Any suggestions please Regards Vinnie |

Hi,
I will check tomorrow as I'm not on the troubled PC and let you know the outcome. Thanks Vinnie I have checked the BIOS and cannot see it, is there a specific place I should be looking ? Last edited by dai; 05-24-2009 at 10:24 AM. |

It is all working now, I reconnected the drive using another connector from the same data cable and also another power connector.
