Question drive letter E:\ locked

i have 3 gh22ls30 dvd burners,two installed both are new.i removed the first dvd it is new allso. iused this dvd to install XP SP3 on this new build installed softwewe woked fine. tried to burn a movie image to HD then back to DVD. it woked ok but took 65 minets to burn. it is drive E:\ ordered a new one took abut 18 minets on drive letter F:\ to burn. thought i had a bad dvd burner ordered a new one. inst it scaned a data disk with it reed speed 1.33x same as the one i replaced.burned a cd with unled burn now 4.5 at the end got an error DRIVE LETTER E:\LOCKED BY SOME UN KUNON PROGRAM. dvd on F:\ works ok so dos the other two,it in not the burners. reasined E:\ to K:\ same thing. when i boot bios decets sata1,3,2 in this ordere?? i have switched sats ports all drives which ever dvd is on letter E:\ dos this HD works on any port. sata on bord chip type is set to (IDE) it i a good build works ok. fron a cold boot i can be reading my email 90 seconds !!!!. i ca live with this problem it just errks me any feed bac APP.

Have you looked in Disk management to see what letter E: is assigned to?

TYREE, CD-ROM 0 dvd (E:) sata port #3 CD-ROM 1 dvd (F:) sata port #2 whe i look click on my computer it list the drives in order (A:)(,C:)(,D:)(,E:)(F:)(G:) ect. (E:) should be top drive (F:) bottom drive if you follow the order they ar listed in. this only works with (E:) pluged in sata port #3 if it is pluged sata port #2 it shows up as (F:) when i boot up the BIOS loads sata 1 sata 3 sata 2 in this order. i have sata ports 4,5 left to try. i have ordered sata cables with 90 angle so i can try them. i may have BIOS or MB problem. i will post when i learn somthing THANKS D.
